I had seen photos of the gateway and heard it's inside Badal Mahal so as I entered the rather impressive entrance surrounded by a thick wall I was expecting a lot. It's a garden enclosed by a wall with broad ramparts on which local boys were strolling, playing etc. In the centre is a tank with the gateway behind it. The gateway is indeed impressive and sin e it doesn't take too much time it's worth visiting for the quaintness of the Darwaza
Clean & picturesque historical place. Timing Sunrise to Sunset. No entry Fee. Inside a huge gate with park like gardens. This is part of the Fort. Inbound stairs as well as opens stairs to go on top of boundaries. It is said that it has many underground rooms. Avg time to spend is 2 hours. Shree Kunj Hotel is at walking distance from here.
Absolutely fascinating to see how handmade saris are made at sari park, a MP govt. sari park, salute to the artisan hard work, purchased few saris and kurti, would love to visit again, I must say we should promote handmade product.
