I visited the Monte Carlo store on 08-02-2026 to buy a thermal for my friend. The staff informed me that an offer was currently running, but it was not valid on woolen clothes. I said that was fine and proceeded to purchase the thermal. At the time of payment, the manager took the payment on his personal mobile phone instead of the store’s billing system. When I asked about the bill, he told me that he had already completed the day’s accounts and would generate my bill the next day and send it to me on WhatsApp. Trusting him, I agreed. The next day, he sent me a photo of the bill on WhatsApp. However, the bill did not include my name or phone number. When I questioned this, I was told that the bill had been generated on someone else’s number for exchange/return purposes, and therefore a bill in my name could not be created. When I clearly requested a proper bill with my name and number, I was rudely told that there was no solution and that I could return the product if I wanted. On 10-02-2026, I went back to return the item. Without asking any questions, the manager immediately accepted the return and refunded the payment again through his personal mobile. I also noticed a board in the store stating “No Exchange, No Return,” yet my return was accepted without hesitation. This made the entire situation feel suspicious and unprofessional. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and rude behavior. A reputed brand like Monte Carlo should maintain proper billing procedures and professional customer service. I hope the management takes this matter seriously and improves their store practices.
